Job Summary

A tax software solution provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Ruby on Rails JavaScript Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building and shipping quality software
  • Taking an active role in breaking large projects down into deliverable pieces
  • Maintaining clear and accurate documentation

Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years of experience with backend database skills
  • 3+ years experience with Ruby on Rails and a test framework such as RSpec
  • Comfortable within a mature Rails codebase and have an openness to JavaScript and Vue.js
  • Excellent remote communication (chat, video, email, etc)
  • Ability to own development tasks from assignment through to production
