Remote RWE Data Scientist

Job Summary

Bridging the gap between programming and epidemiologic study design, the Remote RWE Data Scientist will execute data analysis projects using real-world healthcare data to inform business and medical decisions on a 2-year contract basis with potential for extension.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute data analysis projects utilizing real-world healthcare data
• Develop and apply clinical algorithms and statistical models to support study outcomes
• Communicate analytical findings effectively to cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in public health, health outcomes, statistics, or epidemiology
• Experience with at least two of the following tools: Python, SAS, or R
• Proficient in analyzing healthcare data, particularly real-world data like insurance claims and electronic medical records
• Familiarity with the design of clinical research studies and epidemiology basics
