Job Summary
A leader in autonomous driving has an open position for a Remote Safety Management System Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the investigation and analysis of safety incidents using root-cause methodologies and driving continuous improvement
- Establishing and maintaining effective safety policies, procedures, and processes that promote a strong safety culture
- Managing the governance processes focused on assisting the cross-functional teams through the process and content required
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 10+ years’ experience in automotive safety and regulatory
- Experience in developing, implementing, and managing safety and compliance programs
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methods and how to apply them an an understanding of risk assessment methods
- Experience in managing and responding to government inquires and significant knowledge of federal and state safety
- Desire for continuous learning, collaborative workstyle, and good judgment and decision-making skills
