Job Summary

A leader in autonomous driving has an open position for a Remote Safety Management System Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Leading the investigation and analysis of safety incidents using root-cause methodologies and driving continuous improvement
Establishing and maintaining effective safety policies, procedures, and processes that promote a strong safety culture
Managing the governance processes focused on assisting the cross-functional teams through the process and content required

Position Requirements Include:

Bachelor's degree in engineering
10+ years’ experience in automotive safety and regulatory
Experience in developing, implementing, and managing safety and compliance programs
Knowledge of root cause analysis methods and how to apply them an an understanding of risk assessment methods
Experience in managing and responding to government inquires and significant knowledge of federal and state safety
Desire for continuous learning, collaborative workstyle, and good judgment and decision-making skills
