The base salary range for a Sales Commission & Compensation Analyst I is $39,000 to $58,000. The base salary range for a Sales Commission & Compensation Analyst II is $49,000 to $73,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.

This is a remote position.

Sales Compensation Analyst Overview:

Responsible for many aspects of the day to day sales commission administration.
Administers commission set-up requests and calculations within the corporate systems.
Processes system level compensation changes.
Generates compensation files for payment each month in an accurate and timely fashion.
Creates, validates and audits monthly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of commission payout results.
Researches and responds to sales compensation inquires and acts as a liaison between the Company and customer to resolve issues related to sales compensation in an effective and timely manner.

Essential Duties:

With guidance, analyzes and validates commission distribution information. Administers commission distribution information by performing system set-up for commission hierarchies and rates to accurately compensate producers as contracted. Processes system level compensation changes, including Agent of Record (AOR) changes.
Prepares and processes monthly commission statements, payment remittances, and compensation reports within established deadlines. Creates, validates, and audits reports to ensure accuracy and completeness before distribution.
With guidance, provides excellent customer service and communication while researching, resolving and processing compensation inquiries and/or issues in a timely manner. This includes processing adjustments related to incorrect producer set-up, incorrect payment amounts, incorrect premium processing, and other general inquiries from internal and external producers.
Participates in corporate and departmental projects as they relate to producer compensation. May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting and evaluating formulas and working within templates. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office products.
Analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
Excellent organizational, detail orientation, and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to multitask and perform under deadline pressure in a changing environment.
Ability to question discrepancies and make recommendations.

Sales Compensation Analyst I Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent related experience
1 + years Accounting, Finance, Analytics or similar experience
Or, equivalent military experience

Sales Compensation Analyst I Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
Insurance industry experience
LOMA courses
Previous experience with sales compensation or regulatory/compliance

Sales Compensation Analyst II Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent related experience
3+ years Accounting, Finance, Analytics or similar experience
2+ years of Compensation Administration or Insurance experience
Or, equivalent military experience

Sales Compensation Analyst II Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
Ancillary Insurance experience
LOMA courses
Previous experience with sales compensation
Insurance Agency administration experience
