Job Summary
An information technology company focused on redefining the speed and scale of big data analytics is seeking a Remote Sales Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Serving as a trusted technical advisor that prospective clients rely upon when evaluating and demonstrating how company solves their big data analytics challenges
- Identifying client pain points and drive technical alignment between those needs and the company platform
- Scouting new technologies and partners that help complete the workflow for customers
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years supporting Federal, US National Security and DoD Intelligence customers in a sales engineer or similar pre-sales role
- 5+ years supporting partners and Federal Systems Integrators who work on various National Security Programs
- Previous experience working as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst working with data analytics
- Experience and track record of successfully selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for query optimization and data model design
- Hands-on experience with Linux file system
