Job Summary

A healthcare outsourcing solutions provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Same Day Surgery Coder.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assigning ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, CPT-4 and modifiers
• Entering diagnosis codes and CPT codes/charges into Epic charge review
• Reviewing and resolving claim errors related to ASC and professional fees

Qualifications for this position include:

• Experience and proven track record in coding in a facility of significant size
• Ability to assist with resolving claim denials related to coding errors
• Ability to review and resolve OCE, NCCI and medical necessity edits
• Ability to review and resolve claim errors related to ASC and professional fees for surgical encounters
• Ability to enter diagnosis codes and CPT codes/charges into EPIC charge review
• Ability to assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis diagnosis codes
