Job Summary

A nonprofit healthcare organization is in need of a Remote Same Day Surgery Facility Fee Coder in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing the medical record, super bill, and/or charge sheet
• Identifying and assigning CPT-4 codes to all outpatient procedures
• Abstracting diagnostic and procedural codes and other pertinent data into the network system

Qualifications Include:

• 1 year of experience in hospital and/or physician practice outpatient coding
• Associate Degree in Health Information Technology
• CCA, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-H
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and pharmacology
• Proven detail orientation and good problem-solving related to coding
