Job Summary
Assisting with scheduling medical appointments and coordinating transportation, the full-time Remote Scheduling Specialist will manage in-house and external physician appointments, handle customer service issues, and ensure accurate documentation for participants.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule specialty and medical appointments for participants, including verification calls and rescheduling as needed
- Document all interactions and updates in participants' charts, ensuring accurate information is maintained
- Communicate effectively with participants to relay appointment information and address any inquiries or grievances
Required qualifications
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience in a call center environment
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, quality, or auditing roles
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to pass a typing test with a minimum of 40 WPM
