Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Scheduling Specialist will create, maintain, and distribute clinician schedules for assigned hospital facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing communication with clinicians and leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain hospital schedules based on workload demands, ensuring timely publication and accuracy in scheduling software
- Communicate with clinicians to address scheduling needs, manage call-offs, and handle emergency openings
- Track clinician hours and collaborate with payroll for accurate processing, while updating recruitment and staffing reports
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, operations, or healthcare administration
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and protocols
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
