Job Summary
A non-profit environmental protection organization is in need of a Remote Science Based Targets Initiative Energy Sector Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Enabling the adoption of 1.5°C-aligned targets in the energy sector
- Conducting research to identify suitable scenarios
- Supporting queries management and capacity building related to the energy sector
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Master's in Environmental Sciences, Environmental or Energy Economics, Engineering, or related area
- 7+ years of professional experience, within a corporate sustainability, account management or similar role
- Expertise in climate mitigation in the energy sector
- Good command of mitigation pathways, climate scenarios, and decarbonization roadmaps
- Knowledge of corporate GHGs accounting and science-based target setting
- Familiar with agile or other project management approaches
