Job Summary

A biotechnology company is seeking a Remote Science Development Lead.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Being the expert-in-the-room for all the biomarkers and technologies in the technological area(s) and vertical(s) for both internal and external stakeholders
• Running the cross-functional squads in the biomarker funnel that will lead to the generation of new biomarker offerings for the agreed vertical(s)
• Interfacing with Chronomics commercial team to set up strategy and prioritise how biomarkers in the technological area(s) can fulfill the required verticals

Qualifications Include:

• BSc and Masters in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related field
• PhD or 7+ years of experience in technological area(s) of the biomarker space (genomics, immunoassays, …)
• Ability to translate biomarkers generated using these technologies into use cases for an end user or commercial partner
• Familiar with complex technologies (next-generation sequencing, mass spectrometry, microfluidics, imaging)
• Experience running teams or managing people
• Deep understanding of some technological area(s) and/or vertical(s) of the biomarker space and the key players on it
