Job Summary
A distributor of scientific products and laboratory supplies is filling a position for a Remote Strategic Sourcing Manager.
Must be able to:
- Own and optimize complex portfolios across scientific products and lab supplies
- Deliver efficiencies on the $300m ~ $500m cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Use best practices and analytics to reduce the total cost of ownership
Position Requirements Include:
- 5 – 7 years + experience in Strategic sourcing
- Bachelor's degree
- A background in competitive bidding, negotiations, and vendor and contract management
- A background in value analysis, business case development, and financial analysis
- Able to forge positive stakeholder relationships
- Excellent data analytical skills, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
