A research organization has an open position for a Remote Science Writer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Draft and edit scientific reports and other materials
- Draft content for publication in journals and other print and electronic media
- Review content to maintain consistent look, feel and style for all organizational science content
Qualifications for this position include:
- B.S. degree in science or professional writing, journalism, communications or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical publications
- Proficiency in writing scientific reports appropriate for both print and web publications
- Ability to write in plain language
- Ability to work with virtual teams required
- Ability to perform substantive editing of complex technical documents
