Job Summary
A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Scope 1 and 2 Emissions Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop decarbonization plans for scope 1 and 2 with functional leaders within the corporate head office
- Provide insight and advice to senior management on best practices in sustainability plans
- Provide project management for other sustainability initiatives as required
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Proficiency in project management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Masters degree in sustainability or equivalent an asset
- Minimum 5 years experience in a sustainability role
- Expertise on issues such as climate change, sustainable investing, and UN Sustainable Development Goals
