Job Summary

A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Scope 1 and 2 Emissions Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Develop decarbonization plans for scope 1 and 2 with functional leaders within the corporate head office
Provide insight and advice to senior management on best practices in sustainability plans
Provide project management for other sustainability initiatives as required

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Proficiency in project management
Excellent analytical and problem-solution skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Masters degree in sustainability or equivalent an asset
Minimum 5 years experience in a sustainability role
Expertise on issues such as climate change, sustainable investing, and UN Sustainable Development Goals
