Remote SDS Author

Job Summary

To support regulatory compliance efforts, the part-time (PRN) Remote SDS Author will research, author, and review safety data sheets and chemical hazard assessments while managing multiple client projects with expected weekly hours around 20.

Key responsibilities

• Author safety data sheets, with a preference for U.S. and international experience
• Review and author hazard communication and product labels
• Conduct regulatory literature and data reviews of products and raw materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry
• 5+ years of experience in chemical regulatory, including SDS authoring
• Ability to interpret global product regulatory and hazard communication concepts
• Working knowledge of GHS, OSHA, Prop65, TSCA, and other applicable regulations
• Consumer label experience is a plus
