Job Summary
A provider of financial and information management services for the healthcare industry has an open position for a Remote SDS OBS Remote Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing accurate code assignments for same day surgery & observation records
- Working in a large acute care facility
- Working remotely from a home office
Skills and Requirements Include:
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CCS-P certification
- A minimum of three years’ recent experience coding same day surgery and observation records in an acute care setting is required
- Experience working in a large acute care facility is required
- The ability to provide a secure work environment is a must
