Job Summary
A provider of an online search engine needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Search Engine Native Applications Senior Privacy Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading projects from proposal through postmortem, assessing vague problems, proposing high-impact solutions, etc
- Contributing/demonstrating ownership over major components of our privacy technology
- Representing company externally as part of industry privacy working groups, conferences or standards body discussions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects from proposal through post-mortem
- Skills to wrangle vague problems, propose innovative solutions, and execute them with a strong focus on metrics
- Experience working on privacy solutions in an engineering capacity
- Deep understanding of network stack
- Experience reverse engineering and auditing applications (Fiddler, mitmproxy, Frida)
- Deep technical understanding of online privacy threats and the existing solution space to protect against them
