Job Summary
An e-learning company is in need of a Remote Search Relevance Lead Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Use cutting edge techniques to improve search result quality
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and propose a variety of remedies
- Work closely with Data Science and Content teams to help shape future of K-12 education
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of building and improving search systems (ElasticSearch, Solr)
- Competency in our tech stack (Python)
- Ability to balance your engineering expertise with a product mindset
- Ability to dig for the underlying user and system needs
