Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote SEC Reporting Lead Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly earnings release filing (8-K)
- Managing communications with external auditors on external financial statements
- Training staff on new developments and new technology
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education and relevant experience
- 2-3 years of SEC external reporting experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of related experience and advanced degree preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting firm preferred; CPA preferred
- Strong project management experience, and excellent verbal and written skills
- Must have the ability to interact with C-level executives, operations and external auditors
