Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote SEC Reporting Lead Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly earnings release filing (8-K)
Managing communications with external auditors on external financial statements
Training staff on new developments and new technology

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education and relevant experience
2-3 years of SEC external reporting experience
Minimum 4-6 years of related experience and advanced degree preferred
2-5 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting firm preferred; CPA preferred
Strong project management experience, and excellent verbal and written skills
Must have the ability to interact with C-level executives, operations and external auditors
