Remote Security Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the development and maintenance of a security program, the full-time Remote Security Analyst will engage in hands-on security operations, incident response, and compliance activities while working remotely from anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Support incident response and investigations
• Assist with vulnerability management and endpoint security monitoring
• Participate in security architecture reviews and cloud security assessments

Required qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent self-study
• 0-2 years in security or IT roles; internship experience valued
• Understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive tools
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security frameworks (NIST, ISO, HITRUST)
• Security certifications (Security+, CySA+) preferred
