Job Summary

A non-profit information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Security Compliance Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of an effective security compliance program
• Becoming fully conversant in our current security posture and existing security controls
• Assisting in designing, creating, and maintaining information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures

Qualifications for this position include:

• Strong familiarity with risk management and security control frameworks
• 3-7 years of experience within financial sector security governance, risk, and compliance in a cloud-based, agile environment
• Experience with the implementation and/or operation of an Information Security Management System
• Awareness of the evolving regulatory landscape within the blockchain industry
• Ability to communicate information security and risk topics effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct exploratory assessments related to sensitive data processing and business-critical processes
