Job Summary
A security and systems management company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining and enhancing existing security solutions and infrastructure
- Designing, implementing and monitoring health of security solutions, including endpoint agent health
- Working with different operating systems, including Windows, Mac and Linux
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years of IT Administration or Security Engineering experience
- Firm understanding of networking basics, including TCP/IP and layer 7 protocols
- System administration of at least one major operating system
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting language
- Basic understanding of security concepts
- Experience maintaining critical and high visibility services for stakeholders
