Job Summary
A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Support development or technical investigation tasks in support of clients as a matrixed team member
- Effectively communicate security information to fellow security consultants and customers
- Use technical skills to respond to threats and emergency security incidents in a timely manner
Skills and Requirements Include:
- CompTia A+, OSCP, Security+, Net+, MCSE, MCP, MCTS, ITIL v3 and/or similar
- Experience operating and interpreting vulnerability scanners, penetration testing, etc.
- Experience programming in one or more languages
- Experience in a specialized area
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix based Operating Systems, etc.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
