Job Summary

A software development company is in need of a Remote Security Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Documenting System Security plan and Contingency Plans for related projects
• Documenting and evaluating security policies
• Ensuring security systems are up to date and creating documentation

Qualifications Include:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Assurance
• At least 5 years of experience
• Strong foundation in Data management security, Authentication, or Applied cryptography
• Advanced knowledge of Linux platforms
• Strong technical acumen securing software and hardware
• Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Nessus
