Job Summary

An information sercurity company is in need of a Remote Security Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Maintain patch and vulnerability management practices to protect against the exploitation of critical vulnerabilities
• Work with the system engineering team to perform configuration and deployment of vulnerability scanning
• Conduct scans to identify vulnerabilities or confirm compliance to security standards

Qualifications Include:

• Understanding of Cloud, Containers, API, and web security
• 3-5 years of experience as a Security Engineer or similar
• Experience with Qualys, Nessus, Checkmarx, ZAP, Burp Suite, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes
• Experience in a scripting or programming language: Python, Golang, Ruby, Bash
• Experience or knowledge in Security Incident Event Management tools (SIEM)
• Knowledge of common information security standards
