Job Summary

A financial technology company is seeking a Remote Security Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Write scripts and build tools that the rest of the engineering team will use to catch security issues upfront
  • Work to identify unaddressed areas of security weakness
  • Balance security with end-user efficiency and business needs

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience on an internal application security team as a security engineer or related discipline
  • A strong understanding of web or mobile application security
  • Experience working with web and mobile applications
  • Pentesting, threat modeling, and architecture review experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines or equivalent required
