An IT company has a current position open for a Remote Security Engineer in El Paso.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Workingwith modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc
- Driving complex security efforts for internal and external customers
- Identifying, planning, and applying security advance concepts and principles
Position Requirements Include:
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge in OWASP Practices
- Experience leading small initiatives with the ability to course-correct as needed
- 4+ years of combined experience in Security, Software Engineering, and DevOps, with coding experience
- Experience with conducting threat assessments and creating remediation plans
- Experience with penetration testing, threat modeling, open-source, and commercial security tools
