Job Summary
A software development company is seeking a Remote Security Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Serving as the point of contact for security system related issues
- Preparing reports and action plans in the event that a security breach does occur
- Analyzing existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements
Position Requirements Include:
- At least five years of experience in system support
- Knowledge of current security risks and protocols
- Willingness to work on-call in the event of a security breach or other emergency
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills
- B.S. in system administration, network security, network administration, or a related field
- Ability to work under close supervision, as well as the ability to take independent initiative when needed
