Job Summary

A digital insurance claims company is in need of a Remote Select Appraiser.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Appraising Antiques & Collectibles for replacement value
• Facilitating or providing an opinion on the potential for restoration / conservation
• Providing an opinion on diminution and/or salvage value

Qualifications Include:

• 3-5+ years’ experience working in the Antiques & Collectibles industry such as at an auction house or appraisal firm
• Professional appraisal certification a plus
• Research skills – knowledge of available antique & collectibles resources and on-line pricing databases
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
