Job Summary
A computer gamin company has a current position open for a Remote Senior 3D Environment Artist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Taking assets through the full modeling/texturing production pipeline, plus sculpt high poly & low poly efficiently
- Creating Stylized and Hard-Surface assets with or without concept art
- Maintaining performance requirements for levels (memory, framerate, draw calls, instances)
Qualifications for this position include:
- Maintains performance requirements for levels (memory, framerate, draw calls, instances)
- Proficient using Maya (or equivalent), Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
- Capable with both hand painted and rendered texturing skills
- Strong grasp of form, and silhouette in regards to modeling, sculpting organic and inorganic structures
- Understanding of gameplay needs such as clarity & readability
- Great eye for light, value, color, and detail
