Remote Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive accounting and advisory services, the full-time Remote Senior Accountant will manage bookkeeping, payroll, and client relationships while ensuring adherence to accounting standards in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties, including transaction entry, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare payroll, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns while overseeing and reviewing work from entry-level staff
• Develop and maintain client relationships, providing insights and recommendations based on financial reports and industry knowledge

Required qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably across multiple clients and industries
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Expertise in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong analytical skills and superior accuracy in financial reporting
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
