Remote Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Accountant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Performing analysis to support ASC 842 implementation adjustments
• Assisting in technical accounting areas including purchase accounting, leases, etc
• Preparing year-end technical accounting memos as needed

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience including public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Proven technical research and application skills
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels both within and outside the company
• Ability to assist with special projects related to new technical accounting pronouncements
