Job Summary
A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the processing of vendor invoices and expense reports
- Overseeing vendor payments by verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing payments.
- Performing month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years' experience
- Significant proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto industry
