Job Summary

A startup development company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Accountant.

Must be able to:

• Prepare the monthly and annual financial statements
• Refine and iterate on month-end close procedures to support best-in-class processes
• Spearhead applications for various provincial & federal financial incentives

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree from a leading university
• CPA or equivalent
• Experience with Xero and/or Netsuite and workflow planning software
• Have solid proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly in Excel), and Google Suite
• Demonstrated success in environments that require managing ambiguity and multiple deadlines
• Have relevant accounting experience, particularly in companies with high-volume (multi-million) transactions
