Job Summary
A university is seeking a Remote Senior Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing financial statement accounts, identifying unusual trends or erroneous entries and verifying accuracy of transactions
- Developing, evaluating and implementing business process improvements and innovative or alternative solutions
- Identifying and recommending improvements to maximize value and efficiency of Workday Financials
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Workday Financials
- Ability to participate as an active team member of the Business Unit, Department and University to work toward a common goal Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
- Accepts personal accountability, proactively seeks resolution for personal limitations head-on
- Actively seeks to influence, build effective relationships and gain alignment with peers, functional partners and/or external partners
