Remote Senior Accountant in Boston

Job Summary

A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Accountant in Boston.

Must be able to:

• Perform a range of complex and senior-level financial statement analyses and account reconciliations
• Complete government census questionnaires
• Draft interim quarterly financial statements as well as annual audited financial statements and footnotes for review by Controller.

Qualifications Include:

• Five years progressively responsible work experience as an accountant
• Ability to analyze financial transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Significant general ledger journal entry production/account reconciliation experience
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel
