Job Summary
An internet consumer services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Accountant in San Francisco.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Provide support to the Accounting Manager
- Play a key role in the monthly close process for specific assigned general ledger accounts
- Manage accrued expenses and other ledger functions surrounding the month end close process
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related areas
- Public accounting experience and a strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Able to document the workpapers logically, clearly and concisely
- Able and willing to independently analyze data sets
