Remote Senior Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary

An education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Prepare memos summarizing issues, conclusions, and rationale for key accounting topics
• Participate in the monthly financial and accounting closing processes
• Work with the various subsidiary accounting teams to ensure intercompany balances are properly reconciled

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related discipline
• 1-3 years of previous management/supervisory responsibility
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP is required
• Experience in ERP systems
• Proficient in Excel to enable the analysis of information
• Previous general ledger accounting experience is essential
