Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Accounting Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing the A/P and GL team, providing guidance and mentoring on prioritization
- Partnering with the Technical Accounting team on the implementation of new accounting standards
- Leading and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment
- At least 2 years’ experience with a Big-4 or equivalent national accounting firm is highly desirable
- Experience working with one or more financial ERP/general ledger system
- Leadership skills with evidence of developing accounting team members
- Expertise in Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
