Job Summary
An internet news and content sharing website is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Accounts Payable Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Processing weekly payment disbursements i.e. check runs, vendor ACH, and wire payments
- Proactively reaching out to the business owners and/or vendors on late invoicing or other issues
- Processing employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years accounts payable experience
- 2 years of general accounting experience
- Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing
- Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system
- Experience with Procure to Pay system
- Customer service approach to internal employees and external vendors
