Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company is seeking a Remote Senior Actuarial Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in developing Behavioral Health claim reserves (e.g. IBNR, PDR, etc.) and forecasts for Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, and External channels
- Analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to create and review monthly/quarterly and ad hoc exhibits based on detailed data sets
- Performing data mining and analyses impacting valuation and forecast
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
- Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel
