Job Summary
An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Actuary.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and evaluate the effectiveness of proprietary pricing models
- Propose and implement necessary changes while contributing to the organization's profitability goals
- Incorporate appropriate actuarial and data science techniques and methodologies to tackle a wide array of compelling problems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of experience as an actuary
- Experience as a commercial P&C pricing actuary
- Experience building rate plans and/or experience developing new rating methodologies
- Adept at bringing creative insurance product ideas to solve ambiguous problems
- Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on real-time interaction, either written or verbal
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize high-impact work
