Job Summary

An aerospace engineering company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Aerospace Engineering Stress Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing structural analysis for mechanical systems
  • Developing novel and efficient approaches to challenging analysis problems
  • Supporting test development, performing post-test analysis correlation

Qualifications Include:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analysis methods and tools
  • 2+ years of experience performing structural analysis using classical hand calculations and finite element analysis
  • Experience in fatigue spectrum definition and generation process
  • Experience in sizing of composite structures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying those for both metallic and composite parts
