Job Summary

A financial services company is in need of a Remote Senior Agency Underwriter in Hartford.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating risk characteristics & analyzing historic and potential account performance to make sound underwriting decisions
• Utilizing established practices, procedures and authority level to issue, modify, and renew policies
• Making decisions within authority levels and providing detailed assessment and recommendations to manager for risks outside established authority

Required Skills:

• Qualified individuals seeking full time remote work from home will be considered
• Travel 10% of the time
• Bachelor's Degree (±16 years)
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines Underwriting experience
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products, state regulations, underwriting policies, procedures and best practices
