Job Summary
A provider of cloud-based software and integrated payment processing solutions is filling a position for a Remote Senior Application Security Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building, deploying and optimizing security controls and instrumentation in and around our code
- Collaborating and consulting with our Agile development teams on security-critical product features
- Ensuring our products are safely designed and correctly implemented
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years working closely with software engineering teams to improve application security
- Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications
- Understanding of some of the following: C#, Javascript, Visual Studio, Python, C++, Node.js, PHP
- Ability to work closely and communicate well with distributed development teams
- Understanding of Amazon Web Services and/or Azure platforms
- An interest in both breaking and building
