Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Application Security Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures
- Researching emerging technologies
- Conducting regular manual and automated security assessments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Security certification such as OSCP, GWEB, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in software/application security
- Knowledge of the threats to modern web applications
- Strong familiarity of OWASP Top 10 and methods and techniques to mitigate them
- Experience with centralized log management tools
