Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Application Security Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures
  • Researching emerging technologies
  • Conducting regular manual and automated security assessments

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or similar discipline
  • Security certification such as OSCP, GWEB, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in software/application security
  • Knowledge of the threats to modern web applications
  • Strong familiarity of OWASP Top 10 and methods and techniques to mitigate them
  • Experience with centralized log management tools
