Job Summary
A financial indemnity company is seeking a Remote Senior Auditor in Winston Salem.
Must be able to:
- Responsible for the more complex auditing activities associated with performing regulatory, contractual, and operational audits
- Provide functional advice or training to less-experienced personnel
- Lead/assist with the more complex internal (operational and contractual), MARS/SOX audits, reviews, validation, and compliance
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be able and willing to travel 20+ % of the time
- Bachelor Degree in a business-related field, or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- 5+ years of prior accounting and auditing experience
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Thorough knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley regulation (SOX)
- Thorough knowledge of related accounting principles and transactions based on assigned responsibilities
