Job Summary

A provider of healthcare cost solutions has an open position for a Remote Senior Automated Appeals Coding Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Ensure appropriate billing of data and follow up on questions
  • Provide coaching and training to Coding Specialist staff
  • Offers quality improvement suggestions on project protocols and processes

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to travel at least 10% based on business needs
  • RHIA, RHIT, RN, CCS, CPC, or other license
  • High School diploma
  • 3+ years clinical medical record coding experience
  • 1+ years clinical medical record auditing/validation experience
