Job Summary
The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will exhibit knowledge in provisioning, maintaining, and automating a Microsoft Azure environment. At CXT Software, the DevOps team is responsible for the entire Cloud infrastructure. The candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to learn the environment quickly and jump right into open projects. Providing 100% uptime (including maintenance periods) is considered a success and quick, automatic provisioning of resources while maintaining constant system reliability and compliance.
This role will partner with all teams to ensure our infrastructure is reliable to our customers. A Senior DevOps Engineer must be able to create automated processes to enhance the company operations and Azure services, configure and maintain infrastructure through code, and develop highly available, efficient, and secure Azure platform solutions.
Additionally, this position develops, maintains, and utilizes infrastructure and application monitoring solutions in the Azure environment. One of this position's goals is constantly working toward a 99.9% uptime throughout the year.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Create automated processes to enhance the company operations and Azure services
Configure and maintain infrastructure through code
Develop highly available, efficient, and secure Azure platform solutions
Develop, maintain, and utilize infrastructure and application monitoring solutions in the Azure environment
Respond to and resolve issues with expediency
Using the SCRUM framework, work with the team to create, prioritize, and complete projects and tasks
Act as a liaison between infrastructure, front end, back end, and customer management teams
Migrate, provision, and tear down infrastructure resources as required
Work on a team with other DevOps team members to resolve problems, cross-train, and provide coverage in the event of absence
Communicate and cooperate effectively with an entire staff motivated and dedicated to providing excellent products and services for a growing customer base and industry
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have no direct supervisory responsibilities initially, but these responsibilities may be available in the future based upon a team member's desire, interest, and abilities.
Skills/Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of Azure Microservices / Azure DevOps
Azure SQL/SQL Server maintenance and monitoring
Azure PowerShell scripting
Real experience building apps and running projects in Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
Outstanding Data analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-driven, flexible, and innovative
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in Solution Architecture; related experience and/or education may be considered.
Prior experience designing Azure cloud environments.
Project Management experience
Ability to scope, create, and deploy a project from start to finish, meeting both internal and external deadlines
Candidates must have a strong understanding of data integration, analytics, data stores, security, and availability of data, with a cloud-first mindset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year, depending on experience
