Job Summary

A classroom management software company is in need of a Remote Senior Back End Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing software solutions for medium complexity product engineering projects towards a business goal
• Participating in scaling applications and services to handle over 1M requests per minute
• Improving software development tooling enabling self and others on immediate team or discipline

Qualifications Include:

• Good at software design, and you write high-quality code in general-purpose programming languages
• Experience with shipping high-performance, medium complexity, applications, and services in AWS or equivalent
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience developing with Postgres/SQL or equivalent technologies
• Make pragmatic technology choices at work and make time to learn in your slack time whenever appropriate
• Care deeply about your work and know how your attitude affects those around you
• Humble enough to use frameworks and technologies that aren’t your favorite
